Good luck to all the athletes competing In the War Games this Saturday!! As athletes prepare to do their best in the spotlight, it is important they also plan for competition day nutrition.

During a competition, your nutrition should look a little different than a typical day. It’s important to eat frequently to maintain energy throughout the day and focus on simple, and easily digestible foods that won’t upset your stomach.

Recommended carbohydrates include bananas, rice, and fruit/veggie babyfood; and stick to very plain proteins, such as baked chicken breast and eggs.
